Dr. Rick Carter is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He holds magna cum laude degrees in microbiology and biochemistry from the College of biological Science. He has previously worked in a Wahpeton, North Dakota family practice for 12 years. He has been doing cosmetic veneers since his first years in practice and his goal is to provide everyone in his practice the opportunity to have a beautiful smile. He is continually educating himself to provide you with state of the art, antiseptic, comfortable and personalized care.
Dr Carter has attended course with the United States Dental Institute for 2 years, Dental boot camp, and is a graduate of the university of Minnesotas conscious sedation course. He has training using computer-aided design for single visit anterior and posterior porcelain crownsand veneers. Dr Carter is also a member of the North Hennepin Chamber of Commerce, American Dental Association, Northside Study Club, And the Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics which keeps him current in the area of dental cosmetics.
Having experienced many kinds of dentistry himself including orthodontics,TMJ and bite restorations as well as implants and gum grafting, he can relate to whatever problems you may have in a non- judgemental way.
